01What is HackCelestial 3.0?+

It's an offline hackathon organized by Tech Alegria at Pillai College of Engineering, focused on creating innovative software and Generative AI solutions for real-world challenges.

02When and where is it happening?+

The Grand Finale takes place on Sep 26–27, 2026, offline at Pillai College of Engineering (PCE), New Panvel.

03Who can participate?+

Teams of 1–5 members. Cross-college teams are welcome. Open only to undergraduate students — B.Tech/BE, BSc (CS/IT/related), BCA, and equivalent tech bachelor’s (e.g. B.IT, BCS, B.Voc IT).

04What is the registration fee?+

₹1,500 per team, applicable only for teams shortlisted for the final round. The Ideathon round is free of cost.

05Where do I register?+

Registrations are open on Unstop from Aug 17, 2026. Use Register Now or go to the HackCelestial 3.0 listing on Unstop.

06How does the selection process work?+

It is a two-stage process: 1) Ideathon / Review Round (Aug 17 – Sep 6, 2026) — submit an idea PPT. 2) Finalist Announcement (Sep 13, 2026) — shortlisted teams advance to the 24-hour offline finale (Sep 26–27, 2026).

07What can teams win?+

A total prize pool of ₹1,50,000 along with cash prizes, trophies, winner & participant certificates, and internship opportunities.

08What facilities are provided?+

Free on-campus accommodation and meals are provided for all participants during the offline event.

09Can I submit more than one idea?+

No, each team may submit only one original idea developed during the hackathon.

10Is a working prototype required?+

Yes, a working prototype or simulation is mandatory for evaluation in the Finals.

11What leads to disqualification?+

Plagiarism, replicating existing solutions without significant modification, missing submission deadlines, or violating event ethics.
